2019
Founded
The idea of Gokkam was conceived in 2019 and Crowd Digital Media (SL) Ltd was officially registered in March of 2020
2020
Lunched The Gokkam Platform
After several months of research, design and software development and all in between, the Gokkam platform went live on the 4th of August of 2020. And on the same day we got our first order…imagine the excitement 🙂
2021
Hit 1,000 Active Users
Just about 10 months later after we went live we reached our first 1,000 active users. The team experienced and celebrated a breath of fresh air… 🙂
2021
Came 2nd Orange in OSVP 2021 Competition
We confidently went in for the Orange Social venture Prize 2021 and came out celebrating 2nd place with a lot of experience, excitement and hope. We knew we are onto something bigger than ourselves.

We have a great team. A mix of professional product/project managers, developers, designers, and marketers with a passion to bring a real change in the Agriculture value chain in Sierra Leone.
